Go for a drive through Kathmandu during an historic Nepal Bandh; with the call to boycott the elections. This Nepal Bandh and the boycott of the elections add up to a clear vote against the King. The King wanted this election in order to legitimate his governance in front of the public world. But with only 10 % turnout of voters that plan failed. Finally this led to the parliament regaining strength and also to peace negotiation with the maoists which meanwhile opend out into armistice.
